OSPREY Shoalwater Half Day Guided Paddle Adventure

If you don’t have a full day to enjoy Shoalwater Islands Marine Park, join us on a 3.5-hour kayaking tour through this special place. We will take you on an adventure where you get the opportunity to connect with the unique marine environment. This guided sea kayaking tour will take you to Seal Island where you get close and personal with Sea Lions and paddle past colonies of pelicans on Penguin Island while you silently glide over seagrass meadows.

Please note:
Participants must weigh less than 115kgs each, be at least 8 years of age please contact if younger and each child must accompanied by an adult. Must be able to understand basic English instructions and are required to sign a waiver of liability prior to participating.

• Immerse yourself in the vibrant birdlife as you paddle between the islands.
• Visit Seal Island where you will see the playful male colony of Sea Lions.
• Gain an intimate connection with nature through sea kayaking.
• Silently glide over shallow reefs.
• Explore secluded bays and get up close to the islands. All within an easy 800m to 1.2 km distance offshore.

WHERE

Meet us at 8AM at
153 Arcadia Drive, Shoalwater, entrance to the jetty (Pengos Cafe car
park, opposite the Penguin Road intersection). There is ample free all-day
parking. Please look for our 4x4 with yellow sea kayaks in the northern car
park and introduce yourself to your guide.

The tour operates daily from 8 am to 11.30 am (depending on weather conditions and how the group is travelling) during the season. Tour departure is subject to minimum numbers and weather conditions.
