The Paddle Australia Enclosed Sea Skills Course is designed to impart the skills and concepts necessary to conduct personal day sea kayaking trips in enclosed sea conditions: inside of estuaries, harbours, bays or sheltering reef or islands.
The course is run over 3 days, usually in the Shoalwater area (45 mins south of Perth). You will be required to participate in a range of scenarios to build your personal experience, skills and confidence.
Students in this course will undergo theoretical and practical training and assessment on the following categories
